Join the 350-Movement on 24 October!

Today, I received yet another encouraging email from 350.org, which is an international campaign dedicated to building a global movement for a greener planet. The campaign is using the 350-number as this is the figure scientists have identified as the safe upper limit for carbon dioxide, measured in parts per million, in our atmosphere. Anything above this number can have catastrophic consequences for our planet.

These days, the 350.org is gearing up for the International Day of Climate Action on 24 October and is asking everyone around the world to spread the word about the day. And since today is "Blog Action Day" and the subject is "Climate Change" I thought I couldn't let the day pass without mentioning something about it in my blog.

According to the 350.org, there are lots of people doing some really great stuff on 24 October, and these big and small actions taking place around the world will be shown on the big screens in Times Square, New York, on the day.
