A small initiative worth mentioning

My son supports a child through SOS Children's Villages, which is an organization that takes care of orphaned children or children in families who are facing hardship. I believe it's a great organization and now that I just gave birth to my daughter I want her to support a child too.

So, the other day I visited their Swedish website to look up their telephone number and while there I read about an initiative that aims to save admin costs and the environment by having their supporters sign up to receive information by email instead of by regular mail. It is a small initiative for a greener planet but one that can have a great effect if more companies do it - and, of course, if people like me sign up to it.
