Help save the planet by educating yourself

This Christmas I received a very interesting book from my father-in-law. It's called Klimatkoden (roughly translated: "The Climate Code") and it literally covers everything you'd like to know to tackle any green skeptic and put you on a path to a greener life.

One of the chapters is dedicated to the "green" tips of personalities such as Al Gore and Bill McKibben, founder of 350.org, as well as leading Swedish politicians and environmental activists. Most of them talk about how we ought to bike more and support local farmers, and they are all very good suggestions. But the one I like the most is the tip given by Swedish Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt. He says that making a difference is not just about doing things but about acquiring knowledge on the subject. He argues that by gaining more insight, we will make better and, as a consequence, bigger contributions to the environment.
