What my husband's 40th birthday party reminded me of

I held a surprise party for my husband, who turned 40 in January, a few weeks ago. I wanted to give him something special so I wrote a song. I had so much fun bringing this little secret project to life and it reminded me how important it is do something you are passionate about and how much energy you get from doing something for others. 

I'm passionate about the environment and I've come realized that if I cannot find a job in this field I can at least continue to write on this blog and remind myself (and hopefully others) how much I can do every day to make this planet a greener place.
