Sesame and basilica burgers
A woman with a lot of passion for everything that's green and healthy is Renee Voltaire (with a name like that you just have to rock). She is a Swedish super (food) chef and yesterday my husband decided to make one of her recipes from her latest book Peace, Love and Food and the result was some really good and healthy burgers of buckwheat. Making burgers with buckwheat doesn't sound very good but when you add some parmesan cheese and lots of basilica, sun dried tomatoes and spices the burgers turn out pretty yummy.
Voltaire also has has her own product range that you can get hold of in any major Swedish food store and I'm a big fan of her bouillon (Lantbuljong) and her tamarind sauce. I also like her food philosophy: "It's not difficult to change your food habits as long as you take one step at the time." Until next time, live green!
